What are the requirements for obtaining a permanent resident parking permit?
The permit is granted to permanent residents living within the Controlled Parking System (CPS) area (Zones A, B, and C). Applicants must submit the required documentation proving permanent residence and vehicle ownership or usage. Only one resident permit is issued per household.

What is the cost and validity of the permit?
The annual cost of the permit is €10.00, and it is valid for one year, with the right to renew.
How will I be notified of my application approval?
Applicants will receive electronic notifications via email and/or SMS, based on the contact details provided in the application.
Where can I park with a permanent resident permit?
Permit holders can park in blue-marked spaces with a «P - Permanent Residentsι» sign within their designated zone. Parking in other zones within the CPS is not allowed.
For white-marked visitor spaces, permit holders must pay the corresponding parking fee.
What should I do if my address or vehicle changes?
Any changes to your primary residence or vehicle details must be immediately reported by submitting an update request to the Municipality.
Are foreign-registered vehicles eligible for a permanent resident permit?
Permanent resident parking permits are only issued to individuals who are tax residents of Greece, as indicated in their E1 tax form.
Can I use a private vehicle that is not registered in my name?
If the vehicle registration is under a different name, the applicant must own at least 20% of the vehicle to be eligible for a permit.
What documents are required in cases of hosted or free accommodation?
For hosted residents, the applicant must provide the E1 tax form of the hosted resident, as well as the E1 and E9 tax forms of the host to prove they share the same primary residence.
For free accommodation, the applicant must provide the E1 tax form of the applicant, as well as the E2 and E9 tax forms of the property owner.
What is the procedure for leasing (rental) vehicles?
For long-term leased vehicles, applicants must provide a copy of the lease agreement between the company and the applicant, and the vehicle registration document.
What documents are required for company-owned vehicles?
For company vehicles assigned to the applicant, the following additional documents are required:
* Vehicle registration under the company’s name
* Official declaration from the company’s legal representative, confirming the vehicle is exclusively assigned to the applicant
Does the electricity bill need to be in the applicant’s name?
No, but a copy of a recent electricity bill must be provided, verifying the residential status of the property. The property’s electricity supply number must match the information on the E1, E9, or rental contract.
Can spouses share the same parking permit?
Yes, if the vehicle registration is under one spouse’s name and the driver’s license under the other spouse’s name, they can share the same permit as long as they declare the same primary residence on their E1 tax form.
